Helicopter Seychelles makes a comeback to the islands

The Seychelles Tourism Board has confirmed that the Helicopter Seychelles has re-established operations following a joint venture with Zil Air, the islands’ only helicopter services.

The merger between the two helicopter companies took place mid- last year, which linked Seychelles with the L’Air Dezil helicopter service for the past months.

Helicopter Seychelles will be bringing back its flagship craft, the Augusta, which is the only helicopter able to fly at night, in bad weather in Seychelles.  The Augusta, which has recently undergone total refurbishment, had been part of the Helicopter Seychelles fleet before it joined Zil Air.

The company hopes to restart its commercial flights to the islands of Seychelles soon.
