Iceland’s Blue Lagoon has finally fully reopened following a brief reopening last weekend before another eruption occurred.
According to travelweekly.com, the entire venue including, the Blue Lagoon Spa, the Blue Café, The Lava and Moss restaurants, the Retreat and Silica hotels, Retreat Spa and other smaller businesses have reopened, following reports from the Icelandic Tourist Board confirming that there had been no seismic activity since January 16.
The site is currently open daily from 10h00 to 20h00, with the Lava Restaurant closing slightly later, at 21h00, and the Moss Restaurant open Wednesdays to Sundays from 18h00.
According to a Blue Lagoon statement, the attraction is collaborating with experts to closely monitor the area and detect seismic activity around the clock and ensure guests’ safety.
