Comparing the results of our salary poll for August with the July results, there is a perceptible improvement in the fortunes of travel agents.
In the August poll, which attracted 390 responses, 14% of respondents said they were earning 100% of their previous salary (compare this with our July poll, in which only 10% said this).
Of the respondents, 29% said they were earning 40-79% of their salary and 37% said they were earning 40-99%, both the same as in the July poll.
More good news was that the category ‘Unemployed due to Covid’ dropped from 18% in July, to 14% in August.
