Istanbul Airport installs sleep pods

Istanbul Airport (IGA) has installed 25 sleeping cabins for passengers in need of a nap before or after a flight.

The cabins include a USB port and socket for charging devices as well as a storage area for luggage.

The IGA Sleep Pods are available to passengers for €6 (R95) an hour between 07h00 and 19h00, and for €9 (R143) an hour between 19h00 and 07h00.

Disposable sheets and a pillow are included in the price, with extra pillows and blankets available at an additional charge.
