Comments | 0

ITA Airways has expanded its multimodal offering by partnering with ticketing company W2 by GO7 to offer combined air and rail tickets to several destinations in the Deutsche Bahn network.

Passengers holding an ITA Airways ticket on a flight from Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate to Frankfurt airport will now be able to continue their journey in Germany or Switzerland with a single ticket, travelling on the Deutsche Bahn high-speed trains.

Destinations that passengers can now travel to include Cologne, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Dresden, Munich, Leipzig, Berlin, Hamburg, Hanover, Nuremberg, Munster and Bremen in Germany, and Basel in Switzerland.

The combined tickets can be purchased through the airline’s sales channels, on the official website and mobile application, via authorised travel agencies, and through the ITA ticket offices and Customer Centre.
