Air Seychelles has signed a lease agreement with SMBC Aviation Capital for two Airbus A321XLR aircraft to support the airline’s long-haul strategy.
The aircraft will enable Air Seychelles to launch new routes that were previously beyond its operational range, while providing greater flexibility to respond to changing market demand.
“The addition of two Airbus A321XLR aircraft will provide us with the range and flexibility required to expand our network beyond our traditional regional footprint and connect Seychelles more directly with key international source markets,” said Sandy Benoiton, CEO of Air Seychelles.
