LUX* Hotels & Resorts has unveiled a brand-new property in the Maldives, scheduled for opening on February 1.

LUX* North Malé Atoll consists of 67 penthouse residences on the beach or over the water, with living spaces measuring 350 sqm. Each villa features a private pool and an outdoor shower.

It also has a secluded dining area, a Peruvian-Japanese restaurant with a sushi bar as well as a rooftop shisha bar.

The spa provides guests with a range of wellness treatments that include body scrubs, massages and aromatherapy bathing rituals. For the more adventurous, there’s a PADI dive centre with access to the Maldives shipwrecks and caves, with opportunities to sight eagle rays and reef sharks. Guests can also enjoy jet-skis and fly boarding, and go on a semi-submarine.
