Luxury lodge, Matetsi Victoria Falls, has unveiled a 1,2km gravel airstrip for its own use as well as for hire by prospective clients. The airstrip is a ten-minute drive from the lodge, along the main access road.

Sales and marketing co-ordinator of the lodge, Lynwin Reid, said it was the only lodge in the region with a purpose-built licensed heli-pad and a private airstrip. Travellers can now opt to fly commercially into Harare and board a chartered aircraft, landing directly in the Matetsi Private Game Reserve.”

Family-owned and independently run Matetsi Victoria Falls is located on the banks of the Zambezi.
