Explora Journeys has released itineraries for Explora III, sailing its maiden voyages on August 3, with no repeated itineraries across northern Europe, Iceland, Greenland, Canada and New England.
The inaugural sailing will navigate the harbours in the Baltics and Scandinavia before crossing the Atlantic towards Iceland, Greenland, the Canadian Maritimes and New England.
The journey offers longer stays and overnights in destinations such as Stockholm, Reykjavik and Quebec City. The northern Europe itineraries introduce maiden ports for Explora, including Bergen, Flåm, Riga and Tallinn.
Destination Experiences include:
- In the Norwegian fjords, guests can explore the small town of Mandal by silent electric boat, visit family-run orchards overlooking the Fisterfjord, or ascend the Loen Skylift near the Briksdal Glacier for panoramic views.
- In Canada, guests can kayak and hike along the Cabot Trail and explore Magdalen Islands and the Mingan Archipelago.
- They can discover the forested shores and river canyons of New England, alongside iconic moments in New York City, before the ship arrives in Miami.
A highlight of the season is the solar eclipse voyage from August 12, the first such event visible from Europe in 27 years. Guests will be joined by Science Presenter, Adventurer and Content Creator Huw James and Helen Sharman, the first British astronaut, both providing expert insights.
Explora III also introduces new culinary concepts including The Cellar by Explora Journeys, and The Chef’s Table by Explora Journeys, where bespoke menus are crafted with guests for a personal dining experience.
