Maintenance at Rio de Janeiro’s Santos Dumont domestic airport and northern Brazil’s Manaus International Airport is expected to affect operations until September 21 and December 20 respectively.
Until September 21, there will be renovations on the landing runway of Santos Dumont domestic airport (SDU). During this period, most domestic flights will operate from Rio de Janeiro’s Galeão International Airport (GIG).
Latam Airlines has confirmed that its flights will be moved, while GOL Airlines and Azul Airlines have yet to announce changes.
Manaus International Airport (MAO) will have limited operations until December 20.
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays the airport will close at 16h00 and reopen at 23h00. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, the airport will close at 17h00 and reopen at 23h00. The airport will be open all day on Sundays.
