Malawi Airlines takes off

MALAWI Airlines has begun
operating ights from
Lilongwe and Blantyre to
Johannesburg, Lusaka,
Harare, Beira, Tete and
Maputo.
Flights from Johannesburg
are daily. Return fares for
ights from JNB to LLW start
at R6 237. Return fares
for JNB-BLZ ights start at
R7 617 return. Fares are
inclusive of taxes.
The airline has said it plans
to increase its schedule
and has long-term plans to
introduce ights to Durban.
Last year, Air Malawi was
placed under liquidation.
The airline has been
rebranded following a
partnership with Ethiopian
Airlines, which owns 49% of
the new airline.
