Malaysia drops COVID entry regs

11 Aug 2022
Comments | 0

Malaysia has dropped entry requirements related to COVID-19 since August 1, according to the British Embassy’s website.

Entry requirements are now the same for all travellers, regardless of vaccination status.

There is no need to provide proof of vaccination, pre-departure or on arrival COVID-19 tests, or undergo any quarantine for entry to the country.

However, travellers are still requested to download the MySejahtera app, but are no longer required to fill in the travel pass to verify their vaccination status.

Visitors to the country can expect to be mask-free outdoors, but should anticipate wearing one indoors and on public transport, according to Travel Off Path.
