Monday Smile: Lift flies in vellies

Lift crews are sporting new footwear, thanks to the airline’s partnership with shoe brand Veldskoen, whose locally-manufactured shoes have been selected as the official off-field shoe for the SA team at the Tokyo Olympics.

“We love being able to delight our customers with the excellent offerings this country’s capable of producing. But more than that, supporting local producers means supporting the local economy, too,” said Lift CEO Jonathan Ayache. “This partnership means we are able to keep our crew looking stylish while bringing together two iconic South African brands.”

Passengers stand a chance of winning a Veldskoen and Lift hamper each month during May and June, by taking a photo of the crew in their new footwear and sharing it on social media, tagging @lift__sa and @Veldskoenshoes. Each hamper contains a Lift wallet and two pairs of Veldskoen sneakers.
