Six-year-old Adam had the privilege of meeting Etihad’s pilots in the cockpit before take-off on a flight from Morocco to Abu Dhabi. Captain Samar Yakhlef would find, however, that he had nothing to teach this young man, who took the opportunity to show off his knowledge of flying. Yakhlef managed to capture some of Adam’s genius on his phone, and the world was captivated. After the video went viral, Etihad Airways decided to make his dreams a reality and made Adam an Etihad pilot for a day. Captain Adam had the opportunity to fly his favourite aircraft in the Etihad Training Academy simulators.
