MSC adds marine safari to SA itineraries

MSC Cruises has added a
new marine safari experience
as a part of its SA itineraries
– sailing from Durban to
Pomene Bay in Mozambique
aboard the MSC Sinfonia.
Pomene Bay is a remote
and unspoilt peninsula
605km north of Maputo and
170m south of Vilanculos.
The stretch of coastline is
in the Mozambique Channel
and offers crystal-clear, blue
waters and white, sandy
beaches. Thanks to the
warm currents from the
Indian Ocean, the area is
home to tropical fish, turtles,
dugongs and flamingos.
Guests can either explore
the area at leisure or rent
equipment to discover the
ocean with snorkels, kayaks
or stand-up paddle boards.
Also on offer at the beach
club are a club house,
swimming pool, three beach
bars and spa services. For
the kids, there is a jungle gym
play area.
