Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has begun its first six-month season in Asia following the pandemic.

The Norwegian Jewel is the first ship to return to Asia. It offers 16 itineraries across 11 countries, docking in destinations including Bangkok, Bali, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Taipei, Tokyo and Yokohama. This year, for the first time, NCL ships will also stop in Seoul en route from Incheon, South Korea.

The new Asian itineraries will range from 10 to 14 days and offer fewer than two days, on average, at sea. Late departures from port and overnight stays are offered in some destinations such as Bali and Osaka.

The ship will also dock at new ports in Seoul in South Korea, Manila, Boracay, Palawan, Salomague and Bintan islands in the Philippines, and Hualien in Taiwan.

“Today is a milestone moment, as we return to Asia with Norwegian Jewel’s arrival to Tokyo. This region delivers some of the most intriguing history, cuisine, and culture for travellers to discover,” said David J. Herrera, President of NCL.
