Norwegian Cruise Line will open its Great Tides Waterpark on Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas on September 4.
Guests will be able to purchase day passes to the waterpark or book private cabanas on the island for up to six guests, with waterpark admission included.
Spanning nearly 2,5 hectares, Great Tides Waterpark will feature the Tidal Tower, with a range of water coasters, body slides, mat slides and a selection of tube slides.
Other attractions include Cliffside Cove, offering cliff jumps; The Great Slide, the Caribbean's only four-person body slide; and Fearless Falls racing slides. Younger guests can enjoy Splash Cay, an 836sqm kids’ zone, while adventure seekers can float along the Wandering River, a more than 244m high-energy twist on the classic lazy river.
Guests wanting to experience the waterpark’s opening can sail on Norwegian Luna’s seven-day Caribbean cruise departing from Miami on August 29.
