HERTZ Rent a Car South
Africa has taken over GSA
responsibilities for the brand
in the local market.
Agents who want to book
rentals locally and overseas
must now contact Hertz
directly.
Previously, outbound travel
bookings had to be made
through Holiday Holdings,
while all inbound, domestic
leisure and corporate travel
bookings were made directly
through Hertz.
“We can now offer all the
Hertz outbound products
including those that weren’t
available under the old GSA,”
says Jaci Visser, GSA and
partnership manager of
Hertz.
The company will also be
launching an online booking
tool which will enable
agents to book international
products. Domestic bookings
have to be done through the
company.
Details on the new tool will
be released soon.
