Swiss bus agency, Twiliner, will launch a new luxury night bus in October, with stops in Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain.
The company’s vision is to bring aircraft business class to European road travel and possibly provide an alternative to night trains and short-haul flights.
The bus features reclining seats that can transform into a flat bed.
The initial routes will be Zurich to Amsterdam via Basel, Luxembourg, Brussels and Rotterdam, which will operate daily. The Zurich to Barcelona route via Bern and Girona will operate every two days. Services will operate in both directions.
New routes are expected, with plans to connect 25 of the most-visited European cities in the next three years.
