THIRTY-TWO international SKAL members from as far afield as Ecuador, India and Switzerland arrived at the V&A Waterfront Holiday Inn in Cape Town last weekend to attend the SKAL International South African annual general assembly (aga) during which a new SA board was appointed.
Barry Noble, a retired life member of SKAL and previously from the Holiday Inn group, was elected as national president while Timeless Afrika's executive director, Sakkie Hattingh, was appointed as vice-president.
Port Elizabeth's Ruby Reynolds will serve as treasurer, while KwaZulu Natal's Anne Lamb is the secretary.
Carl Twiggs from Cape Town was elected as the South African international councillor.
This international travel club for travel and tourism executives, established in 1948, has 415 South African members.
