Oceania Cruises, represented by Cruises International, has announced the launch of its ‘Historic Savings’ event, which facilitates savings of up to 75% on selected 2011 and 2012 departures. This promotion applies to eight Mediterranean cruises from September to November and longer autumn voyages to South America and South Africa. Also featured are two Panama Canal passages and a 12-day round-trip Caribbean cruise from Miami aboard Oceania Cruises’ Marina, departing December 10.

Selected sailings in 2012 include a South America cruise from Rio de Janeiro around Cape Horn to Valparaiso, Chile; two Asia cruises and voyages through the Suez and Panama canals. The line is offering 18 cruises ranging from 10 to 35 days. Starting prices range from $1,249 to $4,799 per person, based on double occupancy.
