The Vineyard Hotel in Newlands is celebrating 120 years of Cape hospitality. On
August 27 the staff of the hotel came together to share the special occasion with
family, friends and corporate leaders. Since 1894, the property has evolved from a
Georgian cottage into a multi-faceted estate, all the while preserving the spirit and
authentic physical reminders of the hotel’s diverse heritage. It now provides 207
luxury rooms to both business and leisure travellers.
