Proving that love really was in the air on Valentine’s
Day, Virgin Atlantic drew a 160km love heart over

request to National Air Traffic Services to fly a heart
over British airspace – the first time this has ever been
done. Pictured here is Captain JJ Burrows, Director
Aircraft Operations of Virgin Atlantic, about to take off.
