Three Cities launches CPT conference venue
THREE Cities Inn On The Square in Cape Town has partnered
with the International Hotel School to provide a new conference
venue that can host up to 120 delegates. The venue is a threeminute
walk from the hotel and is equipped with all business and
conference amenities and free WiFi. A 24-hour package is available
for R1 545 per delegate, which includes accommodation, breakfast,
buffet dinner, conferencing meals and parking. The day conference
package costs R380 per delegate and includes meals and parking.
IHG unveils InterContinental NhaTrang
INTERCONTINENTAL Hotels Group has opened its first hotel in the
coastal city of NhaTrang, Vietnam. The hotel has 279 rooms and
56 furnished suites as well as extensive meeting facilities equipped
with the latest technology. Dining options include the hotel’s main
restaurant, Cookbook Café, and a poolside bar. Guests can also
make use of the hotel’s fully equipped fitness centre. To celebrate
its opening, the hotel is running a special promotion on bookings
made until June 30.
Virgin to buy Franschhoek property
VIRGIN Limited Edition has signed a contract to purchase Mont
Rochelle Hotel & Vineyard in Franschhoek. Sir Richard Branson
said: “I’m thrilled to announce that we are in the process of
purchasing Mont Rochelle.” Albert Gatare, a member of Miko
Rwayitare’s family, who purchased the property in 2001, said: “With
both [Branson’s] and Virgin Limited Edition’s ambitious plans for the
future of Mont Rochelle, the family is certain that Miko’s vision of
creating a small slice of heaven on earth will be realised.” Following
final purchase proceedings, the hotel is expected to close for
refurbishment, with a view to Mont Rochelle reopening in August
