Proflight Zambia has adjusted its schedule of flights between Johannesburg and Lusaka to cater better for consumer demand.

The airline will conduct daily midday flights on this route, with the addition of flights operating on Tuesday afternoons from July 2024.

Flight P0026 will depart from Lusaka at 11h00 and arrive in Johannesburg at 13h00. Flight P0027 will depart from Johannesburg at 14h00 and arrive in Lusaka at 16h00.

“These adjustments put us in an excellent position to maintain our superior travel experience and strengthen our financial footing,” said Captain Josias Walubita, Proflight Zambia’s Director of Flight Operations.

He added that daily, midday flights would give passengers an optimal schedule for business or leisure travel.

The airline also announced that it would suspend Saturday evening flights between Johannesburg and Lusaka. Evening services will now only be available on Sundays.
