Qantas to upgrade fleet

Qantas Airlines is to refurbish its fleet of 12 A380 aircraft. Refurbishments have already been completed for the first aircraft.

The upper deck lounge has been extended and now features seating for 10 people. Passengers can order from a range of snacks and light meals.

Qantas has reworked the space on the A380 to increase the number of premium economy seats from 35 to 60 and newly designed seats are part of the upgrade

The Qantas Business Suite has replaced the Skybed and provides direct aisle access for every passenger.

The refurbishment of all remaining 11 aircraft is expected to be complete by the end of 2020.
