The Radisson Hotel Group has announced the inclusion of the Crystals Beach Resort Belle Mare in Mauritius in its Radisson Individual brand.

The 234-room resort on the east coast of Mauritius is just an hour from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport.

“The opening of Crystals Beach Resort Belle Mare, a member of Radisson Individuals, underscores Radisson Hotel Group’s dedication to expanding our resort portfolio in premier leisure destinations along the Indian Ocean,” said Tim Cordon, COO of Middle East, Africa, and South East Asia Pacific at Radisson Hotel Group.

Crystals Beach Resort Belle Mare joins Radisson Blu Azuri Resort and Spa and Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette Resort and Spa in its Mauritius portfolio.

On-site restaurants include Mediterranean-style Belle Vue 1838; Villebague 1740, a French dining experience; Ocean Grill Beach Restaurant, which offers fresh seafood; and Quatre Cocos Restaurant for unique fusion food. The beachside Belle Vue 1838 Bar offers a stunning ocean view, while the elegant Icery 1869 Bar provides both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the tranquil courtyard.

Activities and facilities for children include the Ti Dodo Kids’ Club and the unique Aqualand water park. Aqualand features giant slides, a dedicated kids’ pool, and a variety of supervised activities.

For parents looking for down time, the resort has a spa and wellness centre with private treatment rooms and an outdoor massage kiosk, and a state-of-the-art fitness facility.

Guests can also indulge in stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, diving, tennis, beach volleyball, and archery.

Crystals Beach Resort Belle Mare was previously managed by the German hotel group, Maritim Hotels.
