Following the success of Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean International plans to build another private destination, this one in Mexico.

Perfect Day Mexico, will be in Mahahual on Mexico’s Caribbean coast and is planned to open in 2027.

“Perfect Day at CocoCay has been a game changer for both our guests and our business,” says Jason Liberty, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group.

“With travellers prioritizing unique experiences and destinations driving their booking decisions, we’re excited to expand our Perfect Day Collection by creating Perfect Day Mexico to serve guests who want to explore the Western Caribbean.”

Perfect Day at CocoCay is the company’s private island destination in the Bahamas. RCI also has a private destination in Labadee, Haiti.

In addition, the company is in the process of developing two new private beach experiences: Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau, the Bahamas, scheduled to debut in 2025; and Royal Beach Club Cozumel, slated to open in 2026 in Cozumel, Mexico.
