Rio Hotel Casino and Convention Resort in Klerksdorp has opened two new food and beverage venues: Karamba Grillhouse and Moo Bar.
The Karamba Grillhouse’s extensive menu includes speciality dishes such as Red Wine Oxtail Potjie, Prime Beef Taster and Tagliatelle with Vodka Flambéed Prawns. The restaurant is run by executive chef, Johan van Tonder, and two sous chefs, Andrew Mkhombo and Riaan Coetzee.
Moo Bar has a vast cocktail menu that has been specially tailored to include both classics and exotic drinks.
Rio Resort gm, Clive Tavener, says: “Although the Karamba Grillhouse and Moo Bar are linked, they have been designed to stand alone, allowing complete flexibility while facilitating conference goers, hotel guests and casino visitors. Each venue has its own entrance and branding, providing two trendy and upmarket venues.”
