Senior staff at the Robben Island Museum (RIM) are set to engage with the unions – including the National Education, Health and Allied Workers Union – via the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration on Tuesday.
This comes as the strike enters its tenth day, with more than 200 workers – including tour guides, boat crews, marketing and ticket salespeople – having downed tools amid a dispute about salary increases and other benefits.
Meanwhile, operations remain uninterrupted and activity at the museum continues as usual, according to an RIM spokesperson.
