Singapore Airlines has extended the suspension of Dubai flights until October 26.
This includes:
- Flight SQ494 departing SIN to DXB
- SQ495 departing DXB to SIN
Customers who have been affected by these cancellations may seek a full refund of the unused portion of their ticket.
UX launches El Salvador flights
Air Europa will launch three weekly flights to El Salvador from December 18.
Flights will depart Madrid on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 01h45. The return flight will depart El Salvador at 12h10 on the same days.
JFK Terminal 5 expands dining options
Fraport USA announced the opening of several new restaurants at JFK Terminal 5 as part of the terminal's ongoing redevelopment.
"The addition of Eataly, Nom Wah Tea Parlor and The Halal Guys aligns with the Port Authority's vision for a new JFK with a uniquely New York experience that will become an enjoyable part of the passenger journey," said JFK International Airport GM, Teresa Rizzuto.
A new gathering space, Central Node Park, is expected to open in September as work on the central concourse nears completion.
United adds new Economy Plus option
United Airlines is introducing a new Economy Plus seating option that offers extra elbow- and leg-room by replacing the middle seat with a shared table.
The airline plans to roll out the new seating across its fleet of Airbus A321XLRs.
On each aircraft, one row will feature a permanently fixed table in place of the middle seat, giving passengers in the window and aisle seats more personal space on longer flights.
