Royal Caribbean Group is launching its new Discovery Class fleet, with the order of two ships from Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard.
The first ship is expected to debut in 2029 and the second in 2032, with the option to order four additional ships.
According to Royal Caribbean Group Chairman and CEO, Jason Liberty, the new Discovery Class places greater emphasis on how guests explore, connect, and immerse themselves in the world through thoughtful design and purposeful innovation.
Over the coming years, the company plans to introduce multiple new ocean and river ships and expand to eight land-based destinations by 2028.
Royal Caribbean Group is represented by Cruises International in the South African market.
