Rwandair warns of total system outage

RwandAir has warned of a total system outage between 21h00 and 07h00 on March 6, and 19h00 and 05h00 on March 7.

The outage is due to the migration of reservations from its current systems onto Amadeus.

The carrier announced its extended partnership with Amadeus in February. Amadeus will now assist the airline with solutions ranging from passenger systems, revenue management, loyalty management, payments and data to analytics

The airline’s loyalty system has been down since March 4, and will resume, together with other systems, on March 7. Any accrual of miles will be credited manually in the new system but redemption will not be possible during the outage period.
