FlySafair has been named the most on-time airline in the Middle East and Africa region for 2024, with 93,82% of its flights arriving on time.

This is according to aviation analytics firm Cirium, which analysed more than 25 million data points from over 600 sources daily to determine whether airlines met their scheduled arrival times.

A flight is considered punctual if it arrives within 14 minutes and 59 seconds of its scheduled landing time. Only airlines that exceed a threshold of operational size and regional diversity are eligible for the global rankings.

AeroMexico was the world's most on-time international airline, while FlySafair beat major global airlines such as Qatar Airways, Etihad and Emirates to claim the top spot in the Middle East and Africa region.
