Les Matuson has been appointed business rescue practitioner for South African Airways.
The airline is officially in business rescue following the filing of the notice of commencement of business rescue proceedings with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) on December 5.
The CIPC processed the appointment of Les, from Matuson Associates, in South African Airways' voluntary business rescue process. He has been active in the field of business rescue for almost 35 years and founded Matuson & Associates to provide support to organisations facing operational and financial crises.
His work profile details his history in some of South Africa’s largest corporate restructuring matters, including the business rescue of Ellerine Furnishers.
