Seabourn will discontinue its submarine programme at the end of its current Antarctic season in March.

This is due to low passenger participation rates, the specialised expertise needed to maintain and recertify the submarines, and increasing regulatory restrictions limiting where they can operate.

The custom-built submarines were available on Seabourn Pursuit and Seabourn Venture.
