Seabourn unveils Authors at Sea

Seabourn has announced its 2026 Authors at Sea and Seabourn Conversations programmes, featuring writers, broadcasters, historians, and cultural experts on selected voyages throughout the year.

The programme includes: 

  • Ann Cleeves, a mystery crime writer and author of 37 critically acclaimed novels. She will host crime-writing workshops and a murder mystery on a seven-day sailing from Dover to Reykjavik from May 30.
  • Zelda La Grange, an international motivational speaker who worked alongside Nelson Mandela for almost 20 years, will be on board Seabourn Quest for a 14-day Atlantic crossing from Miami to Lisbon from April 26.
  • Lady Sandra Howard was a top model in the 1960s and is now a novelist and freelance journalist. Her novels draw from her experiences and will be shared on a 12-day Atlantic crossing from Lisbon to Miami from November 10.

The Seabourn Conversations programme will feature a former NASA astronaut, a former FBI agent, a hostage negotiator, an Everest mountaineer, athlete, photographer, guest chefs and more who will host live events and hands-on workshops.

The events will take place on Seabourn Ovation, Seabourn Encore, Seabourn Quest and Seabourn Sojourn, sailing to a variety of destinations across the world until January 2027.
