Silversea’s two upcoming World Cruises, ‘The Three Oceans’ in 2027 and ‘An Ode to the Moment’ in 2028, will come to South African ports, offering two segments each with departures and arrivals at Cape Town.
The Three Oceans
The 2027 World Cruise will sail from Los Angeles on January 8, 2027, and cross the Pacific, Indian and Atlantic Oceans before arriving in Copenhagen.
Travellers on the Silver Dawn will explore destinations in 35 countries and 80 ports with two legs departing and arriving in Cape Town.
The 15-day Mahé to Cape Town leg will call at Port Louis, Mauritius, and Pointe des Galets, Réunion, before arriving on South African shores to explore Richards Bay, Durban, Gqeberha and Langebaan.
The 20-day Cape Town to Dakar leg will make stops in Lüderitz and Walvis Bay; Luanda; Tema and Takoradi, Ghana; Abidjan, Ivory Coast; and Banjul, Gambia.
An Ode to the Moment
The 2028 World Cruise will sail from Miami on January 5, 2028, through the Caribbean, South America, the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, Middle East and Mediterranean, before arriving in Nice.
Silver Dawn will take passengers to 29 countries and 58 ports with two legs departing and arriving in Cape Town.
This includes a 20-day ‘Sands of Time’ leg, from Rio de Janeiro to Cape Town, which will call in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil, before crossing the Atlantic and making stops in St Helena, Walvis Bay and Lüderitz before arriving in Cape Town.
The 17-day ‘Nature in Verse’ itinerary from Cape Town to Mahé, will stop in Mossel Bay, Gqeberha and Richards Bay, as well as Réunion and Mauritius, before arriving in Mahé.
