Fully vaccinated travellers no longer need to provide proof of a negative PCR test result to enter Sri Lanka.
To be recognised by Sri Lanka as fully vaccinated, travellers must have received a full vaccination course at least 14 days before arrival.
Minors need only one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine to qualify as fully vaccinated, while children under the age of 12 no longer need any vaccination to avoid pre-departure testing.
Proof of recovery from COVID-19 in the seven days to six months before travel will also ensure a traveller is exempt from testing, provided they have received at least one dose of a vaccine as well.
The rules for unvaccinated travellers remain unchanged – all arrivals aged 12 and older who are not vaccinated must show either a negative PCR or rapid antigen test result to enter.
