The Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board (MTPB) will close its South
African office on June 30. Jameel Karim, marketing manager of
the MTPB, says a combination of factors, including the cessation of
operations by Malaysia Airlines [from South Africa] and budget cuts
have led to the decision to close not only the SA office, but the Perth,
Hanoi, Milan and New York offices as well.
