Sun International will open The Maslow Time Square hotel in Pretoria on April 1, the first multi-star-rated hotel in South Africa.
The hotel will have three-, four-, and five-star accommodation and facilities, perfect for corporate travellers whose companies preclude them from staying in the higher rated hotels. Five-star guests will have their own check-in and dining areas.
The Maslow Time Square will have 238 rooms in 10 room types, and two suites. Conferencing venues include meeting, breakaway and seminar rooms seating from five to 144 delegates and other facilities will include two pools and a gym.
The Maslow Time Square is part of Sun International’s developments in the Menlyn Maine precinct – Time Square Casino opened in April 2017, and features an array of unique restaurants, including Guy Fieri’s Kitchen and Bar, Something’s Cooking by J’Something, and Altitude, a champagne lounge and bar set on the rooftop and overlooking the precinct; across Time Square is the Sun Arena, an event and concert space that opened in October 2017 and can seat up to 8 500 people. The Sun Arena has a Spur restaurant and children’s gaming arcade.
