Sweet and sour KLM sauce

09 May 2003 - by Natasha Tippel
Comments | 0

AN extra 10% commission on all new bookings for business and economy class tickets in May and June is being implemented by KLM. (See TNW for more information)
However, KLM have also announced that costs of improper computerised reservation system (CRS) bookings will be charged to travel agencies, due to the rise in distribution costs incurred by KLM from improper CRS booking practices.
Abuse categories include fake names, invalid segments, invalid passives, and churning cancel/rebook (where an agent has booked and cancelled the same segment at least four times in the same transaction).
