SWISS will open new Business and Senator Lounges at Zurich Airport in the first quarter of 2027, offering around 20% more space than its existing facilities.
The lounges will be in a newly constructed building on the southern side of Dock B and will replace the airline’s current Business and Senator Lounges in Dock A. The move forms part of Zurich Airport’s planned replacement of Dock A.
Together, the two new lounges will cover around 2 600sqm, with each occupying an entire floor. They will feature additional seating, dedicated areas for working and relaxing and a window frontage with views of the apron, runways and the Alps.
Around 20 fully soundproof workstations will be available across the two lounges.
The Senator Lounge will also feature a bar positioned along the window front – with 180-degree views of Runway 34, the apron and surrounding mountains – a wine humidor and a dedicated maturation room for selected cheeses and cured meats.

“More space, with dedicated areas for working and relaxing, combined with open views of airport operations, will provide comfort and a distinctive sense of Switzerland.”
Bus gates will be directly below the new lounge building, which SWISS said would shorten the distance to boarding gates for some passengers.
Once the new facilities open, the existing SWISS Business and Senator Lounges, as well as the SWISS Alpine Lounge in Dock A, will close.
SWISS also expects to relocate its First and HON Circle Lounge from Dock A to Dock B in 2028 as airport modernisation work continues. Further details will be announced at a later stage.
