TAAG Angola Airlines took delivery of its second Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, under a leasing arrangement, at the new Dr António Agostinho Neto International Airport at the beginning of this month.
The long-haul aircraft, registered as D2-TER, joins the B787-9, D2-TEQ, which operates the Luanda-São Paulo route. The new aircraft will improve capacity on intercontinental routes.
The aircraft has an initial configuration of 345 seats – 282 in economy and 63 in premium economy. This could be reconfigured in the future.
