TAAG ups frequency to São Paulo

TAAG is to up frequencies on regional routes to Mozambique and Namibia from October 2. An extra flight will also be added on its intercontinental route to Brazil. 

Maputo flights will increase from three flights a week to four. The Maputo flight departs Luanda at 09h30 and arrives in Maputo at 14h30. The return flight departs Maputo at 15h30 and arrives in Luanda at 18h30. 

Flights to Windhoek will increase from four to five times a week. The flight departs Luanda at 11h05 and arrives in Windhoek at 15h35. The return flight leaves Windhoek at 16h35 and arrives in Luanda at 19h05. 

The extra flights on both routes will be on Sundays. A Dash 8-Q400 aircraft will be used on the Windhoek route and a Boeing 737-700 will be deployed on the Maputo route. 

Luís Catuzeco José the airline’s spokesperson, said in a statement that TAAG would add an additional flight to São Paulo on Saturdays, bringing the frequency to four times a week. A Boeing 777-300 will be used on the route. 

The flights will depart Luanda at 21h30 and arrive in São Paulo at 08h30 the next day. The return flight will leave São Paulo on Sundays at 18h15 and arrive in Luanda at 06h30 the next day.
