Three new hotels cater for business and leisure travellers

 Starwood Hotels &
Resorts will soon introduce
its Westin Hotels & Resorts
brand to Mauritius. Owned
by Blue Ocean Park Ltd, The
Westin Turtle Bay Resort &
Spa is scheduled to open in
spring 2014. The resort will
enjoy a pristine beachfront
location in the historic
Turtle Bay of Balaclava on
the north-west coast. The
Westin Turtle Bay Resort &
Spa, Mauritius will feature
nearly 340 sqm of event
space, including a ballroom,
two meeting rooms and a
fully equipped business
centre.
 The Outrigger Mauritius
Resort and Spa in Bel
Ombre, opened on January
30. The deluxe 181-room,
all-sea-view resort is the first
for Outrigger in the Indian
Ocean and the company’s
45th property now open or
under development in eight
countries.

Group opened the 140-
room Holiday Inn Mauritius
Airport in December. Just
700m from the new SSR
International Airport, five
