Bookings are now open for new LCC, Jambojet, which will commence
ights on April 1. Jambojet is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kenya
Airways. The Kenyan-based airline will start with domestic ights between
Nairobi and Mombasa, Kisumu and Eldoret. Jambojet is also looking to
introduce regional routes from Nairobi such as Dar es Salaam, Mwanza
and Zanzibar, Addis Ababa, Bujumbura and Kigali. Bookings can be made
online via the airline’s website. Flights are not currently available on the
GDS but ceo, Willem Hondius, says the airline may introduce an agent
portal at a later stage. Flights cannot be booked through Kenya Airways
