Train strike called off

A strike planned by train drivers during the Olympics in a row over pensions has been called off after a deal was agreed.Members of the Aslef union at East Midlands Trains were due to walk out on August 6, 7 and 8, threatening travel chaos for spectators going to the Games.The two sides said that "constructive" discussions had led to the action being averted.
