AF partners with OUIGO trains
Air France (AF) and SNCF Voyageurs have extended their ‘Train + Air’ partnership to OUIGO trains. Passengers can now combine a flight and OUIGO train journey within a single reservation with the guarantee of being rebooked on the next available train or flight in case of irregularity, at no additional cost.
Rail connections are available to and from Aix-en-Provence TGV, Avignon TGV, and Marseille-Saint Charles stations. The intention is to expand to all 70 destinations served by the rail company in France.
Golden Eagle launches Turkey itinerary
Golden Eagle Luxury Trains has released a new nine-day tour from Istanbul to Cappadocia that will from operate from September.
The Turkish Treasures itinerary explores the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque in Istanbul, the marble streets of Ephesus, the ruins of Hierapolis and the city of Laodicea before heading to Ankara and Cappadocia.
It includes a private Istanbul sunset cruise on the Bosphorus, tours through ancient ruins, temples and palaces, and a visit to Goreme Open Air Museum and its rock-cut churches.
The all-inclusive journey will take place on Golden Eagle Danube Express and will include private en-suite rail accommodation, meals and drinks, personal cabin attendant service, fully guided off-train excursions, transfers and premium hotels before and after the tour.
