Dubai plans airport express line
Dubai Metro has proposed a new metro line to connect more areas of Dubai, including Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International (DWC).
The new 55km Airport Express Line will run from the current Red Line Metro station in DXB to DWC and is expected to have five stations, according to Khaleej Times.
The proposed line would also offer passenger check-in facilities, baggage drop-off and security screenings, to widen the airport-rail travel service.
SNCF opens refurbished lounge
French rail operator SNCF has opened its newly refurbished TGV INOUI lounge at Paris Gare de Lyon.
Located within the station, the redesigned lounge spans 630sqm with a larger seating area.
The Grand Voyageur Le Club lounge is divided into two sections: a ground-floor area for visits shorter than 15 minutes, and an upstairs section offering upgraded services and amenities. The upper-level features spaces for relaxation and work, individual phone booths, complimentary WiFi and a variety of beverages.
